If your kids are already playing Roblox, you’re probably looking for a way to make the screen time educational, right? Yes, educational games for kids do exist within the world of Roblox! *And the parents of the world cheer!*
My 7-year-old, Matthew, dreams of becoming a famous video game YouTube star one day. He eats, sleeps, and breathes video games like it’s nobody’s business, and, when it comes to completing his homeschool assignments, he is extremely motivated when extra video game time is up for grabs.
Like you may be, I’m a “kill 2 birds with one stone” type of homeschooling parent, so, when it comes to allowing video game time, you can bet that I’m going to make it as educational as possible. Enter: Brainika Math. When it comes to educational games for kids, this Roblox game is a keeper for my up & coming 2nd grader!
Fun Educational Games!
When given the choice between practicing math facts with flash cards or with a video game, I’m betting your kids would ALL say “video game!” right?! My son is totally the same!
If I’m going to allow screen time, I want there to be some educational aspect to it. BRAINIKA makes it fun for kids in Kindergarten through 2nd grade to practice their math facts through a variety of interactive challenges and gamification. In addition to practicing math facts, kids are also able to work on beefing up their reading skills as they read the directions and interactions with the characters. Now, playing educational games is fun and something kids actually want to do!
As if playing a fun game wasn’t motivating enough, Brainika Math encourages kids to play (cough, cough…learn…cough) regularly by rewarding them with the one thing every Roblox player wants…ROBUX! By participating in their 30-day challenges, kids can earn 400 Robux. Sweet!
In addition, new game levels are added regularly, keeping these educational games fun and fresh!
It’s Super Affordable!
How many times have your kids asked you to get a $20 video game only to have them play it 2 times? Three if you’re lucky? #beentheredonethat Purchasing video games can get costly fast and, chances are, the video games don’t really have any educational aspect to them.
Brainika Math is super affordable. Monthly subscriptions are available or, until September 30, 2021, you can take advantage of 50% off an annual subscription!
It’s ADHD Friendly!
As a former special education teacher, I am always on the lookout for educational games that could work well for all my kiddos that have special needs. I love sharing tips with my former colleagues as well as any of my friends that have kids that have special needs.
Brainika Math was created by a mom looking for a way to increase educational opportunities for her son that has ADHD. After seeing how much he loved playing Roblox and how it kept his attention and focus, mom & education entrepreneur, Anika Brain put two and two together and got to work combining educational games with Roblox. As a result, children from all around the world can now play one of their favorite video games WHILE learning and taking advantage of all the motivation to do well while playing Roblox.
You can learn more about Anika’a story and the motivation to create Brainika Math by watching a quick video on the BRAINIKA website.
It’s Parent Friendly!
As a homeschooling parent, I’m all about tracking educational progress and providing them with a safe environment in which to learn. I love watching my kids grow to learn more and more and I’m willing to bet you’re the same. I’m can track progress myself, but, if an educational program can track progress for me, I’m totally game! (yes, pun intended).
BRAINIKA provides parents with progress reports showing information such as screen time and the percentage of time spent learning certain skills. This can totally come in handy when narrowing down the areas in which your child excels and the areas your child could use a little extra practice. I love that BRAINIKA has this feature for parents!
In addition, while there are so many Roblox games that allow chatting among game players, you can rest assured that Brainika Math is a safe environment for your student! The chatting feature is disabled, so you don’t have to worry about your child chatting with strangers and/or getting distracted due to a conversation.
If you are a school teacher, an educator or a homeschooling parent with 3+ kids at home who has been using game-based learning and would like to use the Brainika Math game in Roblox in class or for home assignments, Brainika would like to give you FREE access. Reach out to Anika@brainika.co to inquire.
Don’t forget! You have until September 30, 2021 to save 50% on your annual subscription when purchased through this link!
Until next time, stay safe and enjoy quality time with your family!
